Noční klub mi bol odporúčaný už približne 15 rokov. Teraz, po dlhom čase som sa k nemu konečne dostal....a bolo ťažké to pustiť z rúk :)Je to prototyp temného fantasy. Opisy brutálnych (fyzicky aj psychicky) scén, ktoré človeku dvíhajú obočia sú bežným prostriedkom autorov na dosiahnutie šoku a pozornosti...ale v tejto knihe to pôsobí, ako niečo viac. V kombinácii so suchým humorom hlavnej postavy, ale pri tom morálnom nastavení jeho zmýšľania to tvorí vcelku unikátny zážitok. O skvelom deji a
An enjoyable read. Similar in some respects to Sergei Lukyanenko's 'Night Watch' series. The Night Club is a group of vigilantes who right wrongs. Then following an attack our protagonist wakes up in a coffin as a vampire.Humorous, entertaining, and fun. Pirates, vampires, grave diggers, cannibals. A romp through the seedier side of life. The only down side is that it does not stand alone, so part 2 will have to be ordered

tahle knížka se prostě četla jedním dechem. ale úplně. pořád se něco dělo a člověk nemohl nemilovat Tobiáše, který nikdy neztrácel smysl pro černočerný humor a nehodlal se jen tak poddat... ale to vyvraždění Nočního klubu... škoda, že tak brzo, myslím, že Kulhánek by z toho nápadu mohl dostat ještě strašně moc. a navíc to bylo napsaný hodně syrově a hodně bolavě, i když přiznávám, že taky hodně dobře
Good, dirty fun: Kulhánek is the Tarantino of Czech SF. His (semi-pro) fans were even able to translate this into English quite well, but found no publisher except a vanity one and no resources for the concluding volume. Still, well worth a try if you want to expand your horizons don't mind some splatter and big-boyish incorrectness.
A o tomto som 15 rokov prečo nevedel? Výborné, rýchle, zábavné, krvavé, vtipné.
