Explanation Conducive To Books How to Be a Perfect Girl
Valentina Hunter's parents think they've just hit the jackpot; when her mother invents a product that makes her family millionaires overnight, they buy a new house and new cars, and enroll their daughter in the ultra-exclusive Palm Lake private school. The school comes with an excellent resume; more Palm Lake graduates go on to the Ivy League than any other private school in the area, ninety percent of them start college with at least a year’s worth of Advanced Placement credits, and they earn more perfect ACT scores per capita than the students at any other high school. Valentina’s mother and father are ecstatic, but Val doesn’t share the sentiment; she would rather go to the local public school with all her middle school friends. Events only increase her desire, as Valentina quickly finds herself embroiled in bitter social battles and hostile vendettas, leaving her to question whether she’ll even be able to survive the first month.Mention Books In Favor Of How to Be a Perfect Girl

Definite plusses. The main character didn't always feel entirely believable, but other than that good bookI try to find something redeeming in every book I read. and I'm usually very good at it. this however is not a book that had any redeeming qualities. it's plot was... horribly mundane interactions of high schoolers of various maturity levels. Val is just as vapid as you are supposed to believe popular girls are... But almost all of her interactions come from boys. mostly boys talking about how hot she is. and we're probably supposed to feel sorry for her, as she experiences sadness and doubt and
Good story, I loved how the drama and romance were intertwined to make it feel like the whole thing was actually going on.This book was such a disappointment to me. I started off the book very open minded since there were not too many reviews about it, but halfway through the book I was starting to skip over some parts just to find out what happened and get it over with. The main character is Valentina, a high school freshman starting out at a new school since her family has come into a lot of money. I felt like she and all the other characters were very one dimensional.Valentina hated how many of the students at
Loved this book! There were so many scenes that were just perfectly written! Mrs. Williams, if you read this, please write the sequel soon. That cliffhanger was crazy. I promise if you do I'll be the first one to buy it.

A free copy was received from the author in exchange for an honest review.I had a major problem with this book, sadly, and that was the MC.Val, the aforementioned MC, may be one of the most unlikeable character I have ever come across. The worst part is, she never ever truly realizes it. She thinks she's nice and blames other people for being mean to her, when it is obviously her fault. For example, she calls her 'friend' Jenny ugly and says no guy will ever like her except a 'nerd' named Noah.
4 stars only because its not my usual genre
