Criticize Out Of Books Yellowfang's Secret (Warriors Super Edition #5)

It was so interesting to see Yellowfang's story and the progression of Brokenstar.(view spoiler)[. Yellowfang and Raggedstar have such a difficult but interesting relationship. They were never really together in the first place and you can really see how they like one another but their ideas didn't work. Also what is it with German books renaiming characters? First, it's Crookedstar, now Brokentail, lol.. I loved to learn more about ShadowClan in general. We see so little of them and usual bad

I am enjoying these latterly-written prequels very much - they round out the world of the cats by taking us to all the other clans and making bit parts the centre stage.

Those who read the first arc of Warriors know the story of Yellowfang: warrior, medicine cat, mother, outcast. She certainly had a remarkable life and deserved her own book. But had this book done Yellowfangs story justice? My answer would be both yes and no, because Yellowfangs Secret has many merits and just as many demerits. Ill start by saying that there are a lot of inconsistencies with the other Warriors books. A lot. Its understandable that with four story arcs, over 20 books and five

5 starsNice to be able to know Yellowfang's life story and life in ShadowClan. Also, about her relationship with Raggedstar. Can't wait to read more Warriors books!!!!

This book was really good, but it was slightly unsatisfying. Raggedstar is horrible to Yellowfang, and I dont understand why she liked him so much. Also, there was this quote that made me kind of uncomfortable.Nettlespot: You cant go risking your life when you have your son, Cloudkit to think about.Poolcloud: Toadskip is the father of my kits too, but I would never dream of telling a warrior not to fight! But overall it was good.

Overall, I'd say the book was well written, but of course there were flaws. I mean Yellowfang's secret; the pain-sensor I believe, was odd. It just seemed out of place that the Yellowfang we knew suddenly has a power that was not even hinted at in any of the other books. And what bothered me the most was how the book ended. Yellowfang's encounter with Firepaw was exactly the way it happened in book one, but it did not match her character at all from this book. Also, Brokenstar was too ruthless.
