Lucia - the fiery Sicilian beauty on the run for murder - and Rubio Arzano, the freedom fighter who risks his life to save her.
Teresa - whose guilty conscience finally drives her to betray her friends.
Graciela - who bears a terrible secret that almost destroys her - and the courageous Ricardo who loves her.

Criticize About Books The Sands of Time
"The difference between a patriot and a rebel depends on who is in power at the moment"I have no words how much I adore Sidney Sheldon and his books, and his brain, and his ideas, and his entire being. There will never be another Sidney Sheldon. Note that. THERE WON'T BE A STORYTELLER LIKE SIDNEY SHELDON EVER AGAIN.There is something inexplicable about his writing, which grips the reader from the beginning till the end, keeps the reader intrigued, letting them feel every single emotion. And how

One my favorite books. Another book I cried to and I fell in love with Jaime Miro.In my opinion, one of Sidney Sheldon's best. It had suspense, humor, romance and history all rolled into one.

It has been an engrossing and entertaining read throughout the time i had this book. The book can be described as a true novel with mixed feelings and emotions throughout and as the title aptly describes, a sequence of events(adventures would be better) and feelings and their change with time. Its worthy of the time you spentA problem i had noticed was that each character had a flashback to him/her and it becomes difficult to match the characters with their flashblack as the story progresses and

This is a story of four nuns who were able to escape the hostile military forces of Acoca who got into their convent. They were instructed by the Reverend Mother to take the convent's most precious possession with them and bring it to the next convent where it can be safely kept and where they can seek refuge as well. However, they fall into the hands of the rebel group led by Jaime Miro. Jaime Miro was ultimately the handsomest rebel this story has ever created. He was so manly, undeniably

I read this years ago and really loved it. Actually, I read most of his back in the day. It doesn't fit with today. Quite a few terms made me feel sick, like using 'ravisher' instead of 'rapist', and his constant use of his young characters 13-15 having sex.

Started this book with lot of expectations as the author Sindney Sheldon has a huge fan following in India and it was my debut read of his books. Opening scene was the only highlight of the book. Rest of the incidents that took place were merely coincidental with lots of loopholes in the plot. Author's writing was very straightforward and too boring which makes the story less interesting. Not sure if I will pick his other works or not

The last time I rode over a Sheldon book was in March 2016. Two years since, to get back to the chill and excitement that Sheldon offers, was supposed to be more than refreshing. However, the pick could have been a better one, I now wish. For, Sands of time isnt anywhere near to an average thriller that he has ever written.A plot set up in Spain, revolving around the chase of an army officer behind a few outlawed Basque nationalists and four nuns, the author manages to speed up the pace of the
