Rendition During Books Golden Son (Red Rising Saga #2)

As a Red, Darrow grew up working the mines deep beneath the surface of Mars, enduring backbreaking labor while dreaming of the better future he was building for his descendants. But the Society he faithfully served was built on lies. Darrow’s kind have been betrayed and denied by their elitist masters, the Golds—and their only path to liberation is revolution. And so Darrow sacrifices himself in the name of the greater good for which Eo, his true love and inspiration, laid down her own life. He becomes a Gold, infiltrating their privileged realm so that he can destroy it from within.

A lamb among wolves in a cruel world, Darrow finds friendship, respect, and even love—but also the wrath of powerful rivals. To wage and win the war that will change humankind’s destiny, Darrow must confront the treachery arrayed against him, overcome his all-too-human desire for retribution—and strive not for violent revolt but a hopeful rebirth. Though the road ahead is fraught with danger and deceit, Darrow must choose to follow Eo’s principles of love and justice to free his people.

He must live for more.

Assess Based On Books Golden Son (Red Rising Saga #2)
Epic roller coaster ride from start to finish! I'd have given it 6 stars if I could. At the end of the first book of this trilogy, Darrow Au Andromedus, after winning the Institutes barbaric challenge, kneels before his enemy and agrees to become his adopted son. The second book in the trilogy begins two years later with Darrow at the head of a fleet of warships battling a simulated war against house Bellona's oldest son Karnus for victory in the graduation test of the Academy. I won't spoil

Buddy reading this book with my favorite Howlers: Sarah, Celeste, Mary, Tweebie, JennymortTake all these 5 stars from me, Pierce Brown, take it, you completely deserve it. Unbelievable It wasnt an exaggeration when literally everyone told me the sequels to Red Rising are much better, Golden Son is truly an incredible installment in the trilogy. I praised Red Rising, I enjoyed reading it so much and yet it pales in comparison to its sequel. I started reading Golden Son on 8th January, the day I

Re-readCan I just take a moment to give credit to this wonderful ending ↓I can't even right now! Okay, lets move on to a little bit of a more sedate review. First off I love Darrow, Sevro, Ragnar, Quinn and Mustang and I swear . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Well, I love a lot of the side characters but I'm most in love right now with Sevro, Darrow and Ragnar in that order. I can't even write this review! This book is all over the place with everything! Blowing people up in space,

I will die. You will die. We will all die and the universe will carry on without care. All that we have is that shout into the wind - how we live. How we go. And how we stand before we fall. I *almost* didn't write a review for Golden Son. It doesn't matter how many reviews I write or how snarky I've been in the past, there is something extremely intimidating about writing a negative review for a book that all my friends loved, that critics praised, and that has an average Goodreads rating of

READ #2, Jan 2018:I'm going to go ahead and say it: but this book is bloodydamn brilliant. I originally rated it 4 stars and then upped it to 5 because holy shit this book did not hold back. It was complex, smart, twisty, and powerful. And the actual rise in quality of the writing and characters was AMAZING!?? (For starters it was way way less sexist than Red Rising too.)GAH. I'M IN LOVE.And rereading was so freaking stressful because I knew what was going down in the end and I just??? I did not

I believe, you shouldnt read any other books from these series.

I will die. You will die. We will all die and the universe will carry on without care. All that we have is that shout into the wind - how we live. How we go. And how we stand before we fall. Its been three days I finished Golden Son and I still dont know how I feel about it, let alone what I think about it. >_< Im just so confused and devastated and my heart is nothing but an empty void. There seem to be three bloodydamn good reasons why I feel that way though:1.) Pierce Brown ripped
