Commentary In Pursuance Of Books The Epilogue (The Selection #3.1)

3 Happy Brithday ★'s

“I knew we were only just getting to the best part of our lives.”

The Epilogue is another really short story which is in America's POV. It takes place two years after The Selection has ended and it's on Maxons birthday.

I didn't really have a strong connection with the The Epilogue. It felt a bit rushed and I think for something like this it would have benefited from being a little longer. For what this was though I did still enjoy it and I'm glad I took the couple minutes it took to read it. It was very sweet and I loved getting to see little glimpses of the friendship that has formed between Maxon and Aspen and I liked seeing a little bit of May and that Marlee and Carter have a one-year-old son named Kile. But it did kinda feel like it was just tossed in there. I also love that it took place on Maxons birthday. America throws him a party and has such a wonderful surprise in store for him at the end.

That was actually very very sweet...😍❤❤❤💕

A very short glimpse on the life of America and Maxton two years after their marriage, that you could easily skip but why would you? It's cute and short.

Short and sweet. Not perfect, the writing wasn't the best, feels like Kiera Cass just rushed to get something new out quickly, but it was still enjoyable and I'm very excited to start The Heir at some point.

***Spoiler Free Summary By Emerald BookWorm***The perfect Epilogue. That's all.

THIS IS STILL SOO CUTE, I STILL NEED AN ENTIRE BOOK OF THIS!!!!***December 21 2016This cuteness was exactly what I needed! Maxon and America will forever be in my heart and this really lit up my day! I miss the selection so much, I wish there was way more on Maxon and America!

5-I'm-so-jealous-of-America-stars!!!Maxon being flirtyMaxon being sweet Maxon being hotMaxon being playfulMaxon being a gentlemanI can't... Maxon really is one of my favorite book boyfriends. I don't know why I was reading this short story jus now because I've read The One like, three freaking years ago... And yet, Maxon is still one of my bae. Why is he so perfect? LOL

Sometimes I wonder why I read the things I do!This was barely a chapter so can't really be classed as a novella even. It was okay I guess. But definitely too heavy-handed with the saccharine schmaltz! Two stars
