Happy Holiday Homicides! proved true to its quote mentioned at the very start;"Everything is never quite what it seems... They really believe me to be afraid of them."This story starts off with quite a unique setting where the reader is introduced to a young woman, Anuaka who has had the misfortune of being held behind iron bars. From this revelation, I was curious about what she had done to have had luck choose the other side. I got to know as the story escalated. Anuaka was definitely a rebelA very good short story that introduces us to the world of Selenium. The story starts with us meeting Anuaka, member of a criminal gang, about to get out of jail. From there, the action never stops and we'll learn more about Anuaka and her family, and her plans (within plans ... within plans) for her family.Anuaka is a fighter, she is strong, cunning and will not let anything or anyone stop her. What is great about this story, apart from being a non-stop action ride, is that in those few pages,

An extremely unique book. I have to say that I have never read a book quite like this one. This is a book about a strong woman and her life in a gang. There is a trigger warning however for those who dont do well with rape or things close to it. Ankakas life is hard and sadly that is part of this story. This is definitely a book that keeps your fingers turning and turning the pages. The drama in the story keeps it as intriguing as could be and the book would most likely be read in one sitting by
