I received this book to read and review. I have read the book Power of a Praying Wife before and this is truly a great companion for that book! AWESOME Book!



It gets two stars because, yes, you should pray for your husband. Other than that, she makes a LOT of assumptions about what women are like, what men are like, and what a marriage should look like. Also about how prayer works. Im surprised this book is so popular.

Probably the best book to help a marriage with God's blessing.

Just finished (re)reading this book this morning. I first got it the year after we got married, back when I thought my husband and our marriage was perfect. I read it cover to cover in a very short time period and thought it was great.Then we moved to AZ, I was invited to a women's Bible Study that just happened to being to doing this book. It was life changing at that time, as things were a little rocky and this book gave me the hope and tools I needed to see me through that period of time.

Highly unfortunate that this is a book that was recommended to me by a pastor. Ladies, if your husband is treating you in the same manner the author reports, you certainly need to pray, but please do so in a safe place while seeking professional counsel for your marriage. That sort of behavior is abuse. I find it bewildering that this is a bestseller that has been recommended by Christian leaders for years, and I feel very strongly about making sure people are aware of the dangerous messages in
